I know I’m super late, but I didn’t want to miss the chance to wish you a [belated] Happy Pride Month! (and to share a few things I’ve been lovin’!)
1. The importance of buffer time
Hannibal Buress gives himself “a twenty-minute confrontation buffer” when travelling so he has time to argue with TSA. I feel like this could be advice for fellow parents of toddlers. Maybe the reason they keep getting their way is because our schedules are missing the confrontation buffer 😀
2. Benji the Yoga Dog
Sometimes he’s my favorite part of practicing Yoga with Adrienne (and I’m not the only one!).
3. Easy ways to offset my online footprint
This makes me feel completely uninformed, but I didn’t realize how intertwined our online footprint was with our carbon footprint. Peppermint Magazine‘s article Seven Tech Tools to Offset Your Online Footprint was super informative and full of really great actionable resources.
4. Hearing about fellow Cool Moms
LOL…me? Cool?
I loved this interview (I’m a Cool Mom!) with artist Alicia Mersy. I particularly enjoyed her advice to new moms:
Don’t be afraid, I promise you can still be you and live your passions. Behave the same just bring in the kids in your life. You will meet those negative people at the playground, but don’t get offended. Bring them in your light.
