Stockings are one of my favorite holiday traditions. I love unpacking them on Christmas day to find all the little goodies stuff inside. I also thoroughly enjoy the challenge of finding the best stocking stuffers to surprise my husband, and now Andy, with! I’ve been gathering ideas all year so I figured it was worth sharing with you. 😉
Many of these ideas could be enjoyed by adults and kids, but this list will focus mainly on those intended for adults. But stay tuned: I’ll be sharing a list of kid-approved stocking stuffers tomorrow!

Funky Bandages
Why do we feel the need to stick to skin-toned bandages as we age? So boring. Spice up their medicine cabinet with some PICKLE* or BACON* bandages.
Socks
A classic! Who couldn’t use new socks?!
Bring your recipient delight for days ahead with this Kraft macaroni and cheese pair*, this Richard Simmons pair*, or Chips Ahoy*.
Cookies
These sleeves of Oreos* are made specifically for stockings (genius!!).
For a unique cookie-alternative, try these individually-wrapped crepes*! They’re filled with chocolate hazelnut and crispy cereal balls. The multi-pack can be used to fill both adult and kid stockings.
Cord organizers
These leather cable ties* are a chic way to keep phone chargers and other small cords organized. This colorful set* of reusable rubber twist ties could be used beyond just wrangling cords.
Games
I haven’t played it, but Iota* has great reviews! The World’s Smallest Lite Brite* is also a guaranteed hit – it actually works! There’s even a totally functional pocket-sized Jenga set* you can gift.
Hair Accessories
Keep your lady stylish with a classic set of scrunchies* or these acrylic hair barrettes*. These spiral hair ties* are also popular and supposed to be gentle on hair.
Coffee
If your stocking recipient is of the requires-caffeine-to-function variety (me!), this coffee sampler* would be perfect – each box contains grounds to make 4 cups.
Bath Bombs
I used to love these when I was younger! This Galaxy bath bomb* will turn the tub black but claims not to stain and this one* will turn the tub glow-in-the-dark! (Tip: I found the same brand a little cheaper for pick-up at my local Target.)
If showers are more their style, this set of shower steamers* is perfect for those who need to relax before bed but aren’t into taking baths.
Fidget Toys
Not just for kids – fidget toys are great to have on hand when you get stuck on a zoom call or if you just need a little distraction from the day’s anxiety. These infinity cubes* come in a variety of cool colors that wouldn’t be embarrassing if it fell out of your purse.
This roller* is another great option for fidgeters (and doesn’t make noise!) – the junior size is softer & smaller so you can get matching sets for parents and kids!
Nuts
Nuts are the perfect on-the-go, [mostly] guilt-free snack! This multi-pack of pistachios* can be stretched across multiple stockings.
Mini-Gadgets
Like this teeny, tiny pocket knife*! Or this mini keyboard* they can use with their smart TV! Or a lighted pocket microscope*! Or a super-handy tiny keychain flashlight*.
Seed Packets
If your recipient is a budding gardener, toss in a few seed packets! They’re easy to find at your local plant shop or grab a 25-pack of these wildflowers*.
Fire Colorant
Many years ago at a local Cracker Barrel, we found pinecones that change the color of your fire’s flames and gifted them to my Dad. They were such a huge hit that we’re always on the hunt for more. If there’s someone on your list that enjoys nothing more than lighting their yard clippings on fire (or cozying up in front of the fireplace – they’re safe to use indoors), grab them a set of these fire colorant crystals*! Toss the unopened packet into the fire for hours of colorful flames.
