As you may have noticed, it’s been a little quiet on the blog this month. We’ve been thrown a few curve balls this month and we’re still trying to recover. I’ll post more about this soon, but for now your happy thoughts are much appreciated 🙂
There’s not a ton to share, but before March is totally over, I wanted to share the super short list of what I’ve been lovin’ this month!
1. it’s National Women’s History Month!

I hope you hugged your mama, grandmama or favorite female #BossLady tight this month and thanked her for all she’s been through that makes life so much easier for you.
2. it’s also Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month
Sure, this sounds far less glamorous than #1, but did you know that colon cancer is the second leading cause of cancer-related death in the U.S.?!
A few years ago, I watched my husband lose his uncle to colon cancer. That was a fierce battle and one that will forever scar my husband and his family. That being said, [as the loving wife that I am 😉 ] I try to make sure I encourage the Hubs to limit his risk as much as possible. The month may be over, but I encourage you to reduce your risk of this preventable disease as well! You can learn more about Colon Cancer Awareness Month here and read more about diet and activity factors that affect risk for certain cancers (broken down by cancer type) here.

3. Handmade Envelopes
These may remain on my list forever 😉
Did you see my post about making envelopes from last year’s calendar? Check it out here and get started on making your own special snail mail holders!
4. #reslicedHappyMail
Yep, it’s still on the list! I love this little project of mine. You can read more about the project here and in case you missed the post this month, just click the image below to hear the recipient’s story!

If you know someone who could use a little reminder that they are special, nominate them to receive a piece of #reslicedHappyMail by filling out the form here. Be sure to read the original post to review all those pesky little rules.
